YU Library was founded in 1949, and consists of 4 libraries. Main Library is located at Kojirakawa Campus, the Library for Faculty of Medicine (Medical Library) is located at Iida Campus, 6km distant from Main Library, the Library for Faculty of Engineering (Engineering Library) is located at Yonezawa Campus, 50km distant from Main Library, and the Library for Faculty of Agriculture (Agricultural Library) is located at Tsuruoka Campus, 100km distant from Main Library.
